Ideally, when E-cas changes to DM, PPR e-mail gets automatically generated. Apparently ours have reached some kind of glitch. I guess, it can only be rectified by manual intervention where case worker should initiate this e-mail.
Now we can send pp without PPR mail, it's dangerous
This all my speculation

You are right. I spoke to my MP and he said something like I was stuck in the printing queue. It reflects what you are saying. Maybe the DM automatically triggered the PPR email but still waiting to be sent out, in a queue.

How do we resolve this, whom should be contact? Iam tired checking mail every day and it’s impeding my work too not able to concentrate

I would suggest requesting GCMS notes. I have already done for my case. I think, some applications are randomly flagged for PPR to be sent manually. It's possible they may want to look over the file once more (who knows). The queue is likely to be this manual queue and so there's really no timeline.

amdee,
Are you waiting for PPR too?

Yes :), in the same boat!

I guess the best bet would be to speak to your MP. Mine asked me to contact him again in a week if I dont hear anything, and I would be doing so.
MPs have direct access to them and they may be able to expedite the process. No harm in trying is what I say.

Not entirely accurate... My DM didn't show up until the next day after ppr

You are in luck with your MP. It seems likely that it will help your case.

The last time I was told that MP office will not pressure IO, when all I really asked about was the status. So I am a bit reluctant on asking for MP's help. That doesn't mean I won't seek their help at all :), but in some time!

I think eCAS updates are delayed by sometime, based on what I have seen in GCMS versus eCAS dates on medical. It could still be an automated system. But then again, your guess is as good as mine since we don't work for VO! :)

I have sent mine as well, expected deliver tomorrow before 5pm.
there was an option to deliver with signature and i have taken that option, now i am worried if Canada Post attempts to deliver and there was nobody to sign they will take the package back? Will they try to redeliver?

they will leave a note at the front of your door to go and pick up the package....I had asked Canada post if they can hold my package somewhere and I will just go in person and pick it up...lady said no it's not possible with Canada Post. I got it delivered to my work address with Signature option. Now the only thing is I am going on a two week vacation starting Friday so will have to come in the office to pick it up.

I know its hard to look at the bright side, but I would rather have them do whatever processing they need without holding on to my passport.
It's better to have passport back in a week or two rather than wait indefinitely for it.

I totally agree!! Let them do whatever they want to do now, take all their time and when we send the passport hope we get it back in a week or so.
I need to travel to Europe by end of march, sometimes I wish I dont get the passport request until after march.
