I got PPR as well. It came last night at 11:40. My eCAS hasn't changed (I don't think it matters)

My wife and I are currently living in Toronto and our son was born in September. I had informed CIC at the time of his birth and they told that I didn't need to do anything to update file. They didn't even ask for his birth certificate.
The email mentioned if step one doesn't apply then send in your passport. Would it be ok if I just email a copy of my son's birth certificate and send out the passports. Or do I need to wait for another confirmation from the CIC. Please advice. Thanks

i just noticed that when commissionaires sent the rcmp it did not include the case analyst number it just used the rest of the address for the rcmp to send the results directly.
since the report has my file number would it make any difference or should i do it again and include the case analyst number or is it ok since it has my file number for the reference??

Did commissionaires ask you to verify the address?
In the report they provided me, my address was also not full. I was missing Suite # and PO box #. I called them and asked them to verify the address and they said that address is correct on the file but due to lack of space in the form provided to me they could not enter the full address.
Try calling the branch with your receipt # and they should be able to verify the address again for you.

It won't matter as long as it has your file number,the RCMP headquarter will send the result to your file and in CPC they know wher your file is located.jaz0020 said:

Congrats folks for PPR! It's interesting that folks received this in the night. Looks like an automated system sending out PPR. I seriously don't expect visa officer working so hard and late in the nightdbss said:

Ideally, when E-cas changes to DM, PPR e-mail gets automatically generated. Apparently ours have reached some kind of glitch. I guess, it can only be rectified by manual intervention where case worker should initiate this e-mail.
Now we can send pp without PPR mail, it’s dangerous
