I got a request for RCMP fingerprints today around at 4 pm and another update saying that RPRF has been updated.

I have done the fingerprints this evening but getting the report to myself first. Once, I get it then I would forward it to Ottawa.

No idea why they requested fingerprints.

Hi dbss,

Do you need to bring the RCMP fingerprints request to do the fingerprints ? My ECAS stucks on Medical Received since Dec 22 and I am worrying about they requested fingerprints however forgot to send fingerprints request. Order GCMS will take a month so I am thinking of just done the fingerprints and send them to CPP-O.

No, you visit an RCMP accredited facility for fingerprinting or your local police agency (Toronto Police does not do it). Once you reach there, tell them you are here for fingerprints for Immigration Canada, they will take your fingerprints there in their office and upload electronically..make sure you go with the electronic copy..they said you will get the results in one week..i made a mistake i should have forwarded the results straight to CPP-O

if they requested fingerprints then you should have got them done...

Thank you :-) If I get it by tomorrow then I will go on 16 Jan to Rainbow bridge.

Do you have any idea how to go there by bus? I heard by greyhound, but not sure about the destination: Niagara, ON or Niagara, NY?

do you have a US visa?

Can you drive?

you need to leave Canada and seek re-entry to Canada to become permanent resident, so it should be Niagara NY.

If you can drive, I would suggest Peace Bridge as you can make a U-turn to Canada without ever entering the US. If both of them are not possible, you can do inland landing at CIC Scarborough Town Centre although I am not sure about the wait times right now.

I have US visa.

I cant drive.

I think you are right. I will ask one of my relatives if he can drive me then I will go to Peace Bridge. If not then no choice rather than rainbow.

I dont know anything about inland landing.

Thank you for your suggestion :) :)

You have to call CIC for an inland appointment...

Thank you! I will check their waiting time. If waiting time is huge I wont wait. This waiting game has to stop ASAP..there is no fun :/

Hey guys... I got in October medical request, fee and FBI. They gave me 60 days. FBI took way longer so I had to send a few days before of the due 60 days (first week of Dec) everything except FBI and asking for more time
Fist week of January finally I was able to send my FBI. Now my question is.... How long it can take this???
I was hoping to get PPR a few days later but nothing yet

Has anyone sent the FBI after? How long it took? I saw people who has medical request after me and they have already their passports with their visa.

Please anything? This waiting is making me sick

I heard it's illegal to send Indian passport across borders.

RPRF payment won't show up in ecas.

Send the RPRF receipt to CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca and cc OttPilot-Immigration @ cic. gc. ca with your UCI and application no . They will reply you 2 weeks later that they receive your RPRF payment. That's what happened to me.
