The email informing what's needed as next step (med exam, RPRF) came from the address "hithere" mentioned.
The actual medical form came from a different address that still landed in the spam folder. For past few days I have been going through spam/junk folder more often than my regular emails !!

I would still suggest to keep an eye on spam/junk folders till this process gets done. Thinking back, using office email may not have been the best idea!

Setting -> Filters -> Create a new filter -> From: cic.gc.ca -> Continue -> Never send it to spam

That's prob your best bet, IMO.
