I think thats what government is trying to do. Trying to project that they are not bulging & yet trying to accomplish some solution for situation. I believe they will accept this offer....Hopefully that would be better for all of us.

If those visa workers were doing good jobs then I am all for giving them a raise. But that's not what happened. Look at all the delays all the mistakes they made. And for most of those on strike while working overseas: they collect 100k CAN$ while on free housing and all other benefits paid by the government, living in countries at much lower cost, and they want more money ... I support the government not to offer them anything, instead, start hiring their replacement, the umemployment rate is pretty high anyway, a lot of people would be glad to take their jobs with even lower pay

I got my new GCMS report today, and the commentary at the end is like this:

No adverse FOSS, RPRF not paid Single. B/C submitted. Meets selection criteria based on verified IELTS, employment letter, valid job offer for which subj meets rqts in terms of language abilities and experience, cadgedec/diploma. Transcripts to be requested. PA obtains 87 points. I am satisfied the points obtained accurately relfect PA's ability to economically establish in Canada. Eligibility decision passed pending receipt of transcripts. Clear FBI provided, needs ***(my home country) PC, RCMP to be initiated in GCMS. Info gaps required for completion of B. ECU, please request: -transcripts, -meds, RPRF, ppt -PA personal history information gaps 1995/06 to 1998/08

the police certificate was submitted to the VO 3 months ago but I never received any aknowledgement on their end -- do I need to get another one and send it again?

Also, this is just what's in my GCMS report dated June 14th, I haven't received any requests for any of those items yet, do I need to send them now or do I need to wait for the official request?

One last thing, what are FOSS and RCMP?

Thanks

How long a agency need to give Ad on newspaper before applying for LMO for me and how long a LMO takes to approved from alberta? Thanks

RCMP = Royal Canadian Mounted Police

FOSS = Field Operations Support System - The main source of administrative data was the Field Operations Support System (FOSS) and the Longitudinal Immigration Database (IMDB).

FOSS is a CIC system that contains landing information on immigrants entering Canada. The analysis of the FOSS data provided detailed profile information on the 33,723 Principal Applicants (PAs) under the PNP for landing years 2005 to 2009. This analysis could be conducted by nominating PT, but not by program stream since stream information is not captured in the FOSS database [Note 12].

IMDB is a database that is managed by Statistics Canada on behalf of a federal-provincial consortium led by CIC. This database links records from FOSS to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax files (mainly T1 data). It is a tax filer database that contains information on all landed immigrants in Canada since 1980 who have filed at least one tax return. The analysis for this evaluation was based on all PNP PAs for the landing years 2000 to 2008 [Note 13], which totals 21,715.
I think, RCMP is responsible to fingerprinting etc. Congratulations!! you should receive your medical call as next step soon.

Thank you very much ghalot201. I can see that there are few private organizations who provides GCMS information too. Is it the same information provided by this website? Obviously they are charging more but just wanted to understand if there is any difference.

Thanks, Gaurav

Can I still request for GCMS notes even if my passport was requested already for visa stamping and Ecas status is decision made? Its interesting to know how my application was processed. Thanks.

Requesting for GCMS is free if you currently reside in Canada legally (irrespective of PR, citizen or work visa). It is your legal right under the right to information act. It is free and costs nothing if you reside in Canada. You can also have someone who resides here apply for you on your behalf.
If you do not live in Canada it costs a very nominal fee. I think 5$

GCMS notes can be applied anytime you want.
