I am in Toronto and applied PR under Federal Skilled Worker Arranged Employment category on 19th September, 2012. I didn't receive my PER yet. Please join here to track the immigration progress.

hi, I'm from fort mcmurray. I applied a month ahead of you, August 17th of 2012 under the same Category with AEO. i didn't receive my PER yet too but i was charged on my credit card already last Oct. 19, 2012.

mine took 2 months before they charged my CC.. so your's still good,.. as per my friend who just got their PR last month it will take 2 -3 months to get PER.

Like rhen ongsico, my PER took 2 months.
I suppose most of applicants who sent the FWS application documents on Sep, 2012 will get their pre eligibility review this month.

I'd like to share the timeline...

I am in vancouver and working on a valid work permit.
I chose CPP-O (Ottawa) as my local VISA Office, and applied with an arranged employment + LMO.
My timeline is below :
File sent : August 30, 2012
File received at CIO Sydney, NS : September 04, 2012 (I checked my Canadapost track and E-CAS)
PER received from CIO : November 5, 2012
E-CAS available : November 5, 2012

I chose CPP-O (Ottawa) as my local VISA Office, and applied with an arranged employment + LMO.
My timeline is below :

PER received from CIO : November 5, 2012
E-CAS available : November 5, 2012

I just have a question, my old work permit is valid til December 2012, i just received my renewed work permit which is valid until Oct 2014. when i filed my PR application i used my old permit attached with my new LMO. Do i still need to wait the email of VO before i sent my new work permit? or i'll send it right away even without them asking me to.. thanks

I asked my friends (who got PR under FSW category), but nobody wasn't in the same situation... so this is just in my view...

My PER said that I should inform the VO of ANY CHANGES in my application include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents.
How about you?

CIC website also informed that;
You may be able to avoid unnecessary delays by:

• notifying the visa office of any changes to personal information on your application, such as your address, telephone and facsimile numbers or a change in the number of dependants; and
• avoiding repeated inquiries to the visa office.

( See: CIC Home > Immigrate > Skilled > After you apply: get next steps )

Therefore, I believe that sending your new work permit is better than waiting.

It's the same thing as yours in your PER. But then, there's no changes that I need to notify them because i do have the same employer, work address and position with my old permit i just renewed it. And right now I don't know where to send it because they will forward my papers in Manila (VO) for further processing. MAybe i'll just wait for their email if they already received it(VO).
