Criminality and security check will proceed after medicals; perhaps by this month end we should have some good news from CIC. Getting GCMS will take a month to receivesuchnaju said:I'm stuck on "Medical Received" for one month. Not sure what I can do now. Maybe I should order GCMS Notes or just keep waiting ?

Shouldn't be a problem, certainly doc will send the information to CIC in a required format . You need to communicate with the doc
I'm not expert however I think you don't need to apply for another work permit(i.e. start the work permit process again), you can simply apply for a bridging open work permit.vik81 said:I have a question for the Forum member and I would really appreciate your guidance.
My current work permit is set to expire in the first week of April. The current status of my PR application is that my medicals have been submitted. They have also been received by CIC. The status on eCAS shows "In Process".
My company's HR department worked with a lawyer in the initial work permit application and are suggesting that I apply for another work permit since timelines are not always accurate and they don't want me to miss the deadline. Do you think it's worth waiting for the PPR or is it ok to start the work permit process again? Would it affect my file?
Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks

Also I think you should be able to get your PR before April ...
It should be considered as a crime offence and that idiot should not become an immigrant - his / her application need to be rejected ha ha haghatot201 said:Some idiot screwed up the excel sheet...
My name is missing.. Anybody has recent backup? It should be sorted by application sent date. I think i'm not going to update this spreadsheet..ghatot201 said:Some idiot screwed up the excel sheet...
Hey Vik, Myself and a friend of mine have applied for bridging open work permit, and it does not even take a month to obtain it, so far it has been a really fast process. My friend applied for it by the end of december and last week she got it. So I would recommend not to apply for it now. I would wait at least one more month from now. If I were you I would apply by the end of February.vik81 said:I have a question for the Forum member and I would really appreciate your guidance.

Me 2, stuck since early Dec. Talked to lawyers, they said we should not reach out to CIC until 25 months! Thats so bizarre.......suchnaju said:I'm stuck on "Medical Received" for one month. Not sure what I can do now. Maybe I should order GCMS Notes or just keep waiting ?
IMHO you should reach CIC or get GCMS notes ASAP.SolarMS said:Me 2, stuck since early Dec. Talked to lawyers, they said we should not reach out to CIC until 25 months! Thats so bizarre.......
