oh man this is making me really nervous. I did my medicals on December 4th, and still have not seen that elusive 3rd line. I called CIC and they said they received my medicals on December 30th, however still no update on eCas.

@vik81: You said you called CIC concerning your medical update not yet showing in eCas?

Do you mean you called the main call center at 1-888-242‑2100? ...Cause they usually tell folks that they have no info concerning cases already at a visa office... If not the main call center, who did you get on to that was able to check the receipt of your medicals?

cheers.

Yes I called the main call center at 1-888-242‑2100. Yes the agent hesitated from giving me the information but after some pleading, he logged into his 'other' system and gave me the information.

I just got the medical, RPRF request.

Paid RPRF on Dec 31 and medicals this week.

Hopefully all goes well now..

Question:

Did you guys get asked to contact a certain person at CPP-Ottawa. I got this in the RPRF and medical email:

Please submit the requested documents/fees to the following address:
Attention: Case Analyst AH**** – CPP-O
Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor, Section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1

Does it mean I have to send them the physical documents?

I have emailed them the RPRF fee PDF.

Congratulations on getting your medicals.
Yes I was also asked to send a copy of the RPRF receipt to a specific address. I sent both a physical copy as well as an email.

good luck

Congrats! Looks like the person that started yours processing has come back from vacation :-) Fingers crossed my MR follows soon then! I wonder if we ended up with the same person, or likely just a few people on vacation.

What time did your email come out at?

Graham.

Btw, how did you pay the RPRF on December 31st if you just got the email today?

Graham.

I got GCMS and saw that the file had been approved and VO had requested RPRF and medicals.

I got the GCMS on 30 and I was unable to make the appointment for medicals last week due to holidays.

Sure thing....hopefully now do they do the processing faster...the VO had asked them to issue medicals and RPRF on Dec 10, the day the file went in processing and I got it today.

That sucks it ended up taking so long. At least the request was made right away though. I wonder if mine was the same. Hopefully get it later today, or tomorrow. Will then need to see if we can do it before we go back home to Scotland on vacation (doubtful), whether we can manage to do them in Scotland, or wait till we're back in Canada...

How long did it end up taking you to receive the GCMS notes?

Thanks for the info on how you paid the fee early - makes sense!

Graham.

I received them after a month...you can probably do your medicals if you are in Toronto...I found a couple you are willing to do upfront medicals...when you get the request send them the receipt you get when medicals are done.

Yea, figure I won't bother requesting the notes, as I'll hopefully have MR before I'd get them!

Think I'll wait till I get the request, as it'll give me the most choice of people (some seem quicker at uploading than others). Will also do my research on the one back home, to see if they are worth going to.

What sort of time did your MR email come out at btw? Just out of interest.

Graham.
