congrats xpost :)

avoid landing during the weekend if you can.

Second that :) Weekends are like the busiest time at the border EVER. Do it weekdays late morning or early afternoon, if possible.

Got RCMP clearance request yesterday for me and my son, even though GCMS notes said "All required PC's received, and RCMP screening: No reportable trace".... Meds done and passed, thought we were waiting for CoPR, Sooooo disappointed. Fingerprints done this morning. Another waiting game begins. This will now put us into the New Year for sure given the holidays >:( :( >:( :( >:( :(

That's really bad from cic part. Is the mail addressed to you? Did you see criminality In progress or passed in gcms ?

Criminality status was updated on May 14th to "No Reportable Trace". I know, it doesn't sound like a "status" but that's what it says.... My lawyer and I are thinking that because they (CIC) sent the MR to the wrong e-mail address (because they had messed it up in their system) and there was a 4 month delay in getting the MR, the application went past the validity date of the RCMP screening (which was October 2013), therefore they now want UPDATED clearances.

My guess is that no reportable trace is under RCMP clearance .

RCMP screening is one of the sub activities under criminality . Criminality would have been in progres / passed. I guess they redo RCMP one more time before setting it as passed.

Hey all. I got my COPR a few days ago. I'm pretty stoked :P I'm planning on doing my landing next Thursday. Someone mentioned that there might be a place in the vancouver airport that you can do your landing instead of going to the boarder. Does anyone know that this is true?

Awesome to see the MR, Passport requests and landing notifications starting to roll in!!

Hello guys,

I got the e-mail with subject "Ready for visa letter".

Does it mean my application is approved and rest is only formalities?

I sent my passport yesterday...

Please advise.

Thanks
