in response to your PM, I did not receive the request for medicals yet, it seem you were incredibly lucky to have received it before a lot of people.

EDIT: I see that a bunch of October applicants already got medical requests and some are even done with their applications. Now that doesn't make sense.... :(
I've been patiently waiting for this strike to be over but it's becoming hard to stay quiet.
 
Hey guys, I have a question.

I got my police checks from my home country on August 2012 (shortly before I applied) and sent it with the original application on Sep. 2012, but because the strike happened, I haven't been asked for medicals yet and now it's been more than 1 year since I got the police checks. Does that mean that now I will be asked to submit new police checks? That would be a big hassle (getting it in my home country, shipping via mail, translating, etc), I hope it doesn't happen.

Hi Gihad,

As far as I know, they won't ask for PCC again.. I am under the same case my PCC was valid only upto Apr-2013 and I got my MR and PPR now, without new PCC.. So, you are good..All the best...
 
Nice, I Hope they don't ask for new ones, as that would take time and money to get them from my home country, mail, translate, etc.
 
I got a rejection email ... it says they are not satisfied with my duties. Duties mentioned in my reference letter do not match with list in HDRC website...

I'm really sorry that this happened to you, did you expect that at all? How different are the job duties you submitted compared to the ones from the HRSDC website for your NOC code?

No difference at all ... they just made a mistake .. I have sent them an email mentioning this misunderstanding from their side .. but I don't have any hope ...

regarding reapply .. I wont ... I m thinking to go to the US .. i have few options ...
