Hope everyone gets it soon.I called my lawyer and got the info that strike is not there as of now.Hope its the truth.

I got the medical request email today. They have also asked for the landing fees to be paid out along with the medical reqs. Is that odd? the fact that they asked for the landing fees, is it a positive sign or is it just a process that they are following without any positive implications for us applicants? they have given us 30 days to provide the medical requests with the landing fees. Hope this is good news. Still apprehensive considering the mishaps that CIC is famous for. How fast do we get the medical report? Do they give it to us or send it directly to the CIC? and what is e-med (or something like that). Thanks for your replies guys. HKT, congratulations on getting the email. Hop-e we all get it. The fact that they requested the medicals means that your eligibility has been assessed. Now all that remains is medicals, criminal, security and background (am I forgetting anything?). If the above checks are ok, you'll be good to go! In other words, receiving the request for medicals is great news!
