Awesome.... Congrats!

Just a quick question: did you have a spouse or dependent?

Thanks guys.

I am all by myself. just applied for me.. and..the future but not yet exsited family..

I dont know who is making a table with processing times.
mine is app received August 23, 2012, Payment Sept 4, 2012 , AOR Sept 12, 2012, change address confirmation March 6, 2013. Medical not yet. NOC 1215

I checked medical are coming, so cross fingers to all !

Btw, anybody else getting all email from CIC like junk.. ;-)?

Guys, my status has changed to "IN PROCESS" as of APR 25th 2013. What does this imply? Also, what will be the next step? Should I tell my HR dept(I work with one of the 5 banks here in Toronto) to look out for the calls from CIC regarding employment verification or has this already been done? Please advice. Thank you for your kind help.

There is no way you can track if employment verification is being done. Only in specific cases, the VO might reach out to your employer to verify. But not every time.
So relax. Wait for the next steps to be communicated by CIC. And enjoy your status change ;)

Nothing has started for me ... criminality, eligibility, security, medical are not started and due on 19/11/2013 (exactly a year from date of AoR). However, for "RCMP Screening" status is "No Reportable Trace".

There are a lot of info (about 24 pages) which I think is garbage.

Is there no other helpful info in the other 24 pages??? re employment or VO comments etc?

I think so ...

Could you give us an insight into them? So others can see the value in ordering them?

As i mentioned .. no eligibility test started ...infact nothing has started.

Actually my letter has everything that are needed ... # of hours I worked in my entire job period + average weekly working hours .. Amount of perks and salary I got for the entire period (year by year listed)... my job responsibilities in bullets which include every responsibilities in the HRDC website + few more ... my boss's request to CIC officer to consider my application ..

The only concern that I have, issuance date of my letter is just 2 business days after I complete my 2 years of work experience.

This could be the reason why our medicals are delayed

May be it sounds odd but I think our processing is in time.

It takes 13 months (CIC website) for the entire process and its just 8 months for us ... After we receive medicals it will take 2-3 months normally for copr so as per their schedule our medicals are not delayed :).. I know waiting kills but this is a part of process and CIC is working on our case ..

This is just my perspective

I guess CEC applications are dealt at the CPP-Ottawa location. And this specific article is perhaps more directed at the immigration officers based abroad.

I agree with other members here that observing the recent activity on our trackers, it seems CIC is actually speeding up the process. Few late august and early September applicants have already received their MRs. But at the same time, there are many June, July and August applicants who still haven't heard.
