Congrats Jennlitt. The good news starts from you. Its definitely a pleasant surprise. Jenn - by any chance are you in healthcare or IT? Just wondering if perhaps applications are being prioritized based on occupation.

I thought earliest we would hear in mid June. I hope the officers continue working on this pace and hopefully we all will hear from CIC by mid June at the latest.

I sent in the photocopy of my IELTS in the application (instead of original) and I just sent the original so hoping they haven't touched my file.

Just wanted to update that I sent in Spousal Documents on 10th April and IELTS Original Result on 21st April (by mistake had sent them a photocopy in the application).

Thanks guys, I'm going to try and get my Medicals done this week and will keep you updated on the progress.

My Ecase is still at Application Received as of this morning.

I work in the entertainment industry so I don't think they are basing it on that.

Another update. Today I received a request for police records from the UK and US. I have both and have been waiting for the request, does anyone know if I have to mail them originals or if scans of the originals will be enough?

The letter is very ambiguous.

You have to send them the ORIGINAL copy of police clearance. Scanned copy not acceptable.
