I just spent $120 as fees for applying PPC for me and my my wife at VFS Global today. Wish I read this before going! India as a Country is not listed as mandatory.

I think we must send PPC from all countries, except Canada, where we lived more than 6 months.

No, I did not send my PCC along with my application. As per S.No 14 in document check list, it says, you can still send the application without PCC and must be ready to submit them when requested by an officer.

As it was not mandatory as part of Document Check list, I sent my application to CIO without PCC and applied for one today at VFS Ottawa.
As I said, again, CIC will perform their own checks and if they need PCC they will request one!

A quick question,

The previous company i worked was closed. I can still request my old Boss to give a Reference Letter, but it wont be on company Letterhead.

Is that ok?
