Hey hey, got my CSQ yesterday. :) They are really one time, exactly one month since I applied.

Well I don't know how Quebec works but I will congratulate you on hearing something.....what does this mean for you now?

We just received our passport back with the visa to enter Canada and receive the PR!!!!

SO HAPPY!

And wayyyyy ahead of schedule. We were expecting to be living together for an adventure for the next year in Argentina. And now... a few months later... we can go back anytime we want and she can work, live, etc!

I want to say thanks to all the members on this forum that made this all possible. There was no way we could have afforded a lawyer, and you guys were way better, and free :)

I can't wait to give back and help others who were in the same place as us a few months ago.

Congratulations!!! You will miss your churrasquerias :P

Congratulations! Now for the loooooooong wait.... hopefully all of our visa offices will process us much faster than what it says on the CIC website!

This is nerve-racking! It'd be a miracle but I'm hoping to hear of any type of news at least in March. Even though I would loooove to move sooner, I want to skip the Winter ::) I'd be moving from the Midwest to Alberta...ugh, I don't want to drive on ice or snow :-X

March would be great. The Buffalo applicants on the Ottawa spreadsheet got their COPRs from between 202 and 276 days, but they also had an average of 90-100 days for sponsorship approval. Our sponsorship applications were processed more quickly - yours was about 2 months, mine in only 39 days (but then add a month for our CSQ...). So, anyhow, what I'm saying is that I'm hopeful Ottawa will continue to get through many of the applications in 3-5 months, or 5-7 months total, which I'm guessing would put us somewhere around March-May for COPRs and landing. Or faster, if Ottawa really is an improvement over the visa offices at the embassies. One can dream, right?

Congratulations Buddy.....u turned out to be the fastest of the lot....btw...i checked out the processing times from Argentina and it mentions roughly around 14 months. Looking at that it seems like they have a very good turn around time....

Lets hope this miracle continues for all the remaining applicants at other VO's as well.....

Our ECAS was updated to "In process" today yesterday. It says they started processing it Dec 7. The funny thing is my wife arrives in Canada today on a tourist visa, but they might request her passport much sooner than we originally anticipated. No such as thing as too fast in this process though!

Thank you. :) It's just an extra paper saying that Quebec also approves me as an applicant, nothing much. I'm not sure if it affects how long they'll be processing my app in Warsaw's VO, maybe a bit.

Ok guys, I'm flying back to Montreal tomorrow, please cross your fingers for me so that they don't turn me back at the airport! ><
I've got all the AORs printed out, bank statements ready, hope it's going to be enough.
I just need to remember to answer their questions and don't chatter, as I always do when I'm nervous. X)
