Question fellow members,

After my sponsorship is approved, I went online and checked the status. The status on the Permanent Resident Application status it says

"We have received the Application for PR for( name) on (Date).

Medical results have been received".

Is it a std. message? What worries me is, why they mentioned only about the medicals not the PCC, and other documents?

I think it's standard. I got the same message too.

indeed - the medicals arrive separately from the rest of the application, so it's a good sign that you can see "medicals have been received", it means that they were able to match them with your file when received at the VO.

For those who do not have the line "medicals have been received" - don't panic, some VO are better at updating than others, and within the same VO, people have very different indications... ecas is not very reliable, but hey - that's the only thing we have...

Good luck to all,
Sweden

When you say that "they were able to match them with your file when received at the VO," does that mean that the documents are already in the visa office after it has been sent to Mississauga? Or VO here is the Mississauga office?

stage one is at 35 days now. i hope i hear something this week. I'm getting more nervous every day.

We just got the 2nd AOR letter, saying that the Warsaw office received the application. They mention that the average processing time is currently 6 months (not 8 months as stated on the CIC website). They gave us a date 3 months from now that we should contact them by if they haven't already contacted us. Very exciting to see, and hopefully they are even faster than expected! Good luck to everyone else on speedy approvals!
I'm finally catching up on this post - congratulations, that's fantastic news!! I hope it goes even faster for you!

It's pretty straight-forward. First, choose type of document, e.g. UCI, Appl number, medical nr, etc. then enter it's number. Then, your name in a normal way.
If you can't access it, it's normal. It happens that your file is approved, and even processed with no updates on ecas.

What does it mean if under applicants name and undersponsorship application status is already Decision Made? What is that decision made already? Is it the approval for sponsor? Thank you

Mine says the same as yours......the way I am perceiving it now is that the medicals now come to Canada and when they are received, CIC puts in medicals received. From there your medicals are transferred to the VO for processing with your application. When your VO starts the process then you will see in process and PPR and all that good stuff.

Oh Ok! That makes sense! Thank you chickie72 for your explanation!

if you have been approved as a sponsor already, then your file is probably on its way to the your VO (outland), otherwise it's still in Mississauga and you'll probably hear from them very soon.
Good luck,

Update for fellow Quebec CSQ applicants - our application was received Oct. 26 and credit card charged Nov. 2, so just one week. Hopefully we'll get the CSQ in another 2-3 weeks.

And a question: Assuming we are approved for the CSQ, do you know whether we need to forward the CSQ to the VO, or whether Quebec will send it directly to the VO for us and then just send us a copy?

Have a great weekend - good luck to all of you who are still waiting on sponsor approval!

Goodluck to your aplication on CSQ. Based on my exeprience CSQ will be mail to the sponsor and enclosed there is instruction you have to do.CSQ if for your sponsored person who will come to Quebec, the sponsored person will present it to his/her port of entry. From what I know once you have the CSQ you will send it to your sponsored person and the sponsored person will bring it when she/he will come to Canada.
Goodluck

In my CSQ approval, it stated that a copy was automatically forwarded to my VO. However, it states to give the applicant a COPY of the CSQ certificate for landing and other things. I gave him 5 just to be sure. It is important to keep the original here with you, as it is required for important documents when the applicant arrives, namely Social Insurance and Medicare card!
