Hi There Everyone!

My application has been completed and sent to Vancouver office where I am awaiting a call to schedule our interview!

My ECAS hasn't changed yet, but the call centre said Vegreville sent us a letter on Monday.

My questions anyone who went through the Vancouver Office are:
-How long did it take for Vancouver office to contact you for the interview?
-How long after that did it take for interview to actually take place?
-The Call Centre said that my interview is the same as landing, yet they did not say a decision has been made, just that my file is completed.... is this the same thing?

I am*hoping* I'll be able to go back to my homeland for a visit in August, is that wishful thinking?

Either way, this is one step closer! There is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and we are all going to be bona fide PRs soon enough!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally received PPR today!!!! After mailing our application Sept 27, 2011 and it being received Oct 3, 2011.......I can finally see the end nearing!!!! Is there anyone still left from this group that is waiting to be finalized?

Hi, I am with you. I applied in September 28, 2011. My husband received PPR first week of May.. So I hope we will get visa at the same time.

We've been waiting since September 27, 2011 to be able to say that the COPR finally arrived!!!!! However, they sent it to my address in the States when I'm clearly in Ontario and they had all the information. But, it's ok, I won't complain now Sending thoughts and prayers to everyone who is still waiting!!

Congratulations. Both of us have same timeline. My husband received passport yesterday.

Sent application at the end of September, called for interview in London on the 22nd May. Interview was fantastic and they approved my application mid interview, they tried printing my paperwork on the spot but there was a computer problem, so I picked it up two days later on the 24th! Landed in Canada with my COPR on the 27th May, got my SIN on the 29th!

I'm glad you guys finished can you tell me how long from your in process to ppr/ visa issue? I filled August 31 2011, interview waived, still waiting but just went in process

Hi I forgot to post back here!!

I got approved in dec 2012 and landed in march 4th 2013.

Now I just started a new application for my husband whom I brought with me to Canada!!

LOL

Just after I got out of the tunnel I get myself in another one!

At least now I know there is lots of hope just gotta have patience.

I filed for PR under family stream my dad sponsored me on Sept 2011.
Did Medical upfront.
CIC lost my application at CPC MISSISAUGA for 8 months. Finally in May 2013 we got everything going on again.
Then approced dec 2012!!
Woo hoo!!
