Not sure it is good news, but today my wife's address went missing on eCas!

There are people that think this precedes action on the application! I am not sure what to think, I only hope that it is true!

Cheers!

Me too. Trying not to get too excited! Since it may mean nothing as eCAS is known to be unreliable. Also, still waiting for AOR.

Dear All, Need ur suggestions
As, we have recently approved as sponsor and now my spouse wants to come to India for 1 month.
But someone told us that my sponsor should wait till further communication from CIC or ND-CHC regarding our application (may be they call us for an interview)
Kindly tell if we would call for an interview will they (CIC) interview my sponsor in Canada (can they interview over phone if sponsor is in India)? And what if my sponsor come to India?
Really confuse about what to do, as my sponsor wants to come to India to meet me, should we wait or continue with our plans?

Any suggestions PLEASE

Is your sponsor a Canadian Citizen or PR?, Your spouse can visit you as a citizen for as long as they want as a PR visits should be short in duration.

They do not interview over the phone but others in the past have gotten calls and they did speak to someone from Immigration but thi is not a norm

I received a letter (via snail mail) from my VO (Manila) requesting for additional documents:
- Medical Report (my wife forgot to include the Form C in our mail to CPC-M, so I'll be sending this to our VO)
- Appendix A (form included in package)
- Family Information (form included in package)

In a separate email, my VO also requested for FBI clearance since I have been in the US for more than a year. I will be sending the addtnl documents when I get back from Edmonton on January 6th; I hope it would be OK if I include a letter saying that my FBI clearance would follow in another response outside of the 45-day window (FBI clearances take 8 weeks to process).

My revised timeline:
Sponsor approved: November 7, 2011
App received by VO: Dec 13, 2011
Request for addtnl docs: Dec 22, 2011
Meds done: July 22, 2011

Wow our applications are really moving fast now! :-) Praying hard for every Septemberians here, this will be a happy Christmas indeed!

Well I wonder if they won't bother sending an AOR since we've already contacted them...

In any case, let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst. This has been my motto during this whole thing... I want to stay positive but realistic.

Merry Xmas, or should I say "Feliz Natal"

I agree!

Or Joyeux Noël! :)
