Hoorayyyyy!!!!! I got sponsorship approval. My husband got it via mail today. Letter dated nov 30. I really don't understand why some got email and others got letter. We definitely put in our email addresses in the app. Oh well..... I'm just happy now ;D

Oh, and they spell my middle name wrong. Should I be worried? I'm thinking I should wait for ecas and see if my name is spelled right on it. Any suggestion?

Congratulations on your sponsorship approval. I think you can wait for your ecas and then make the necessary requests.

Hooray I got a letter in the mail saying I was approved to sponsor my husband. The letter was mailed on November28,2011. Our file was transferred to Guatemala. I am so happy. Congratulations to anyone else who got approved.

Congratulations. Hopefully everyone else in our Sep thread get approved and the happiness of approvals spreads to October.

My suggestion would be to call CIC and let them know you want to add your eamil id. I think they might be able to update your email id when they open your file for sponsorship approval. Hopefully it works. Good Luck.

WoooooHooooo... We also got APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just called CIC and the agent said that the sponsor is approved and an email was sent to the sponsor on Dec 2nd.

We havn't received it though. The agent said they will resend the email but it will take another 30 days.

We dont mind... Confirmation of approval over phone is more than enough for now...
