lol haha to be honest i am not really stressing the process as the long wait is already behind me and i did that all without freaking out so i gotta keep living approval will come when its ready

Hi, I'm new to this forum although I've read some of the posts from time to time.

I applied to sponsor my wife from Peru. Our application was received in Mississauga on September 9th and I haven't heard anything. I read that some people had their application received after that date and are now approved as a sponsor.

I tried calling the number at CIC but all the the options are automated. How are other people speaking to an agent? Am I calling the correct number 1-888-242-2100.

Hi, I have the same situation with you. I sent my application on 7 Sept, Missisauga received it on 9 Sept.
I called CIC before 4PM today, they told me that there's no indication that my files is opened. so it's still sleeping in their office now........
Hope we could get good news next week.

Hello all, I have a quick question - is it normal at this stage to only have the financial receipt (IMM 5401) as an identifying number? As far as I know, we haven't received any other official immigration mail that would have file numbers or client IDs. Thankfully eCAS takes receipt numbers, but it has me worried....

yes it is unless u are a pr n have ur previous uci u can use n log in

no news for me saddddd......
my feeling is like hanging especially i cannot open topic about application to hubby cause he stress to work. just 2 weeks only
by the way i tried to login my receipt start at R0000000
result before::: no resulttt

but maybe three days alreadyy i login the receipt
result::: u need to login ur receipt start at B000000
but this b::is ur immgigration receipt which i dont know

what does it mean?? u think they done processing our file but we not received anything yet either letter or mail...

How log after the approval can I log in to ecas.?
