You guys don't necessarily have to wait for an email/letter to check approval, alternatively, you may do so by using you Client Id/UCI# which would be on the receipt of payment.

Does that work before your file is transferred to your VO? I understood that it only works afterwards, but I could have been misinformed. Anyway, thanks for your encouragement message! I wish you a fast step 2 processing time!

CIC update for sponsorship assessment: 68 days!

For the first time in months the processing times for sponsorship assessment have gone down! I wonder if it matters for us though, or only for people who apply right now.

It works this way at the sponsorship stage:

You put in your info, if the message says update unavailable, that means, your application is still pending for review

Once a decision is made, you'll see two tabs "decision made" and "application received"

under decision made, it'll tell you:

When application was received
A decision has been made
A letter has been sent about the decision

under application received, it'll tell you:

We received your application for permanent residence on xxxx-xx-xx

I have only a online print out receipt which has some R..number on it.

Will i get a client ID later?
