We can all celebrate our 1 year anniversary since submitting our apps. I guess we're unlucky ones..

Hi guys, I'm in the same boat, August 2011 applicant

Still waiting here, as well We were told by CIC last week that with Buffalo closure, not to expect any word for at least one more year. I don't see how that could be accurate but that's what we were told. Frustrating to say the least.

that's really disturbing, our files were transferred from Berlin to Vienna, would that mean as well, that we won't hear anything for at least one year? HOnestly, I cannot believe that could be true :'(

well right now I'm frustrated, first they told me my mp they lost my medicals but the weird thing is they have my daughter's medicals and we submitted together and no one in their office informed us that our medicals were missing not until we asked help from our MP that we found out what was going on, and then I got a letter asking for additional proofs which I sent last month and then I emailed for specific inquiry, then lo and behold they are telling me that I haven't submitted anything yet. I have all the proofs that it was delivered there.

my passport has been with them since december.

i guess we are all in same boat i filed in nov and was in canada i came to india to submitt my passport in feb but after then am here stuck in india have no idea what to do and were to go .our was love marriage and we havent stayed away from each other for that long .i was in canada on student visa for 5 years really frustating

Do you guys know whats the reason for this very long processing of our visa?how come 2012 applicants already have der visa while us 2011 are still waiting in vain?im so desperate to have my visa because i really want to spend christmas with my husband..

I am a July 2011 applicant and I am sti not done..

No one could tell us a reason for these huge delay in our files.

Every case is different.

Sent my package: Sept 11,2011
Package received: Sept,13,2011
Step1 approval: Nov,24,2011
Transferred to Abu dhabi: March,19th
Req additional doc's: May,16,2012
Req new medical: July,16,2012 ( Done July,21,2012) They requested new med's because my wife was pregnant at the time and couldn't do the Xray when we did the med's the first time in Aug 2011
PPR email: Aug,27,2012
Submitted Passport: Sept,13,2012
Still waiting for the passport back

I know I think 13 is my new lucky number
