hey criset and emrn, still no updates? hmmm I don't know if you should do the same, but around the end of March I called CEM asking for updates, since I sent them my FBI clearance the week before. The person at the contact center put me on hold for maybe 15 minutes, then came back and told me that my visa is due to be sent out that week. I'm not sure if my call had anything to do with it, but hey it's worth a shot if you're close to 8 months now. My wife and I will be praying for both of you, hope you receive DM's this week.

HI EVERY ONE MY WIFE APPLIED FOR ME IN NOV 2011 AND I WAS ASKED TO SUBMITT MY PASSPORT IN FEB2012 AT DELHI WE GOT MARRIED IN CANADA ON AUGUST 2011 I WAS I STUDENT AT THAT TIME MY STUDY PERMIT EXPIRED IN NOV SO I HAD TO RETURN BACK .WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS SOMETHING TO TELL ME THAT HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE .MY WIFE ENQUIRED THROUGH MLA IN CANADA AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY R DOING BACKROUNG CHECK.ANY INFORMATION WILL HELP

yeah its our fault supposedly they asked already the police clearance from sweden if we think that im not exceed to 6 month visa but we think that we not exceed really instead we submitted my old passport instead of pc.. but we had an another email last march5 asking 4 the police.. i thought we had the same output after i submitted my pc after 2 weeks i have result but i think i have a delay for another 2 months bec.. of another email...huhuhu..let say i had aor on jan.04 had another email march 5 so i guess i have news this may06..hahaha..i go crazy with this w8ting game................my classmate from alliance she had already a visa for 3 months in france without police clearnce or nbi.. very fast she is just visitor and shes the one get my flower when i throw it up on my wedding just married 2011 now she go to her husband very quick im jealous. never order caips yet we will plan to order it after 4 month since i sumitted my passport it will be on may 16....

additional info too hubby sent email around feb.21 that his additional sent by post inquiring if they receieved via quebec he sent it again by email but we not inquire about our status..at feb.24 i got update on my ecas that medical result receievd then march 5 is their reply on the inquiries of hubby that we need to sent the police..but we get the result of pc around march 22 then sent to dhl to canada embassy manila. they receievd it around 10:30am by dhl by teodoro tuballa.. why is it there r tuballa.. the other was nestor receieved my passport...my pc receievd by teodoro....welll i dont know the future...2 days ago i tried to inquire in our post office that if i have letter in their office maybe its refusal letter but no letter so i still have chance then.. hope its dhl will come to our house not a post...cause they said if its a letter from post it refusal letter but if the letter is thru courrier its visa........still holding and fasting my belt hope i will not fall down and get crashed.........

hi there pls help me regarding this matter or any advice. i have received the refusal letter yesterday april 30, 2012. i have notice in the refusal letter that the person stated there is not me. but all the passport,transcript,documents etc is mine. what should i do about this matter. i already call the embassy but they are busy in the processing of other applications which make them un attended. pls help.thanku

If I were you, I would send them an email describing the real fact. I would also send them a Fax. All the best.

He did respond back within 10 mins which I thought was great. He said he would look into my case, and see what he can do or at least find out for me. Today::
Well I received a phone call from the MP office this afternoon. CIC told them that it was too early to ask about the status of my application and that it could take up to 18months?? I have never read that it could take that long out of the detroit/buffalo office. Has anyone else.. The MP is going to get back to them again for some more specific information, and also the person I spoke to stated alot of people have been complaining about the non information lack of updates to status on ecas or through the VO either. So disheartening to say the least if this 18month thing is true. does anyone know? thanks.

p.s I also noticed on the time line that myself and Muffy1 are the only 2 that have not received PPR.

just email them i think they will read rather than answering a call.. btw how do u know the refusal is not from u is the name of the applicant maybe thats for me..hehehe hope not..what the reason of the refuse if u dont mind..did u receieved it by post??or by courrier..when did u applied and the date of the refusal letter...thanks in advance just curious too cause im still in w8ting time...bonne journeee
