How do i start. I have booked ielts date. How should i apply to college?
The process seems very confusing to me.
Do i apply & pay application fee online now, without transcripts and ielts score?
!!!!!DocRZ said:Start researching on the admission requirements of your prospective university as requirements may vary. See if your qualifications meet their standards. Also check for the deadlines since international students have earlier deadlines compared to PR's and Canadians. Contact the program coordinators for your specific inquiries. Complete their requirements. Usually they will demand transcripts, reference letters, research proposals (for postgrads), English proficiency test results. Usually, you have to send official copies of your transcripts and English test results. Apply online! Wait for 4-6 weeks for the results.
If you're still eyeing for the Fall 2013 Term, you must hurry up as most universities have already closed their applications for admissions. Good luck!

@ vaibstep: I think hiring a consultant is a good move as you may only have a limited time to lodge a successful application before the Sept2013 intake.
@ 458 Bridge: I'm also on a boat to Canada but mine is going to the University of Calgary. I'm also in the process of gathering all requirements for the visa application. I plan to apply online because it's much faster than paper application. The best of luck to both of us.
