10th ICSE board 72%
12th HSC 55%
Bcom 55%
Investment administration certified course from CSI UK
IELTS band 8 (listening 8.5 reading 7 speaking 7 writing 7)

Applied for admission in George Brown, Centennial Humber and Seneca Colleges in Financial Planning 1 year course.

I have been working in kuwait having 5 years experience in Investment operations and currently working in a Bank for past 3 years.

Never applied for study permit to canada before, I am confused whether should apply from India under SPP or Abu dhabi.

Please help ??

Thanks Tomsware but I wont be able to secure admission with such less marks. Also for uni you need to prepare for GMAT . I am already studying for my CFA level 1 exam. What are my chances in securing admission in other colleges with these marks ?

from india it take less time.... but for september intake college deadlines are over isn't it??? for visa btter apply from abudhabi... as u working in kuwait..... applying from india they can ask for medical and orignal pssport and u need to travel to kuwait what if the proceesing is going on and u need to come back.. while from kuwait u can submit only copy of PP and they only ask once ur visa is process and for kuwait may be no medical require!!!

Admission is not the problem ... Problem will be visa for college for business studies ...

Your ielts score is great ... There are over 10 universities in canada which dont require gmat for their mba or masters program ...

Brock, windsor, uni of new brunswick, uni of northern british clumbia, york, viu, tru etc ...

I applied for Brock but they said my marks are very low for admission. I am trying for TRU but their fees is very high man .. I just need to apply for 1 year course and return to middle east.

*purpose of visit,
*not meeting the spp criteria now i want to apply again and need ur suggestions.my educational qualification is;
# +2 in non medical and secured 56% in 2006
# one year computer diploma securing 78% in 2007
# one year teaching experience till 2008
# b.com from cmj university securing 76% fr0m 2009-2012
# ielts score is 6 band :L-6, R-5.5,W-6.5,S-6.5 and showed study loan of 8.65 lacs.
NOW pls suggest me what course should i choose and what are my chances of getting visa in general category?

Tusi aye mention naee keeta kai total bank balance kee aye te 6 overall band naal college application apply ho sakde aye for a diploma course. jai tusi university wech apply kerna aye taan over all band 6.5 hona chaheda.....
What is ur experience in like which profession you are working

your previous rejection points does not show course mis match it shows purpose of visit....

did you write a proper SOP?? or Study plan?? your study plan should be Strong showing your major intentions for your studies and your strong home ties..... normally for bank statements you must have atleast 1 year of college fees and 1 year living expensis....!!! you bettre make it sure according to indian currency from any Indian forum member..


i request Indian forum member to please guide our sister here regarding the bank statement or loan whatever so that she can work on those lines accordingly!!!

I would like to take 2x8week ESL (fee is around 5200CAD) and then 2 years college program (the fee is around 12500CAD a year). Leaving expenses are 10000CAD a year. My question is if i have to have 5200 + 25000 + 20000 = +-50000CAD before i apply for study permit or it is enough if i will show them that i have the money only for first year and ESL which is around 33000CAD and i will get study permit for 2,5 years?

I hope you guys will understand what i mean and help me.

Hi Aatur,

I get your point... there is not perfectly mention anywhere that you have complete amount of your stay and ur studies....
but so many places its mention atleast 1 year of expensis of studies and living.....!!! so its 1 year of study and expensis.... but visa officer u never know..!!!!

I know that you never know visa officer but i am just asking if does it make sense to submit application and you know... if this is possible in general... If yes then i am good cause i have 30k so its enough for one year tutition and living expenses but if i need to show them that i have all money then it's impossible because i don't.

And second thing is if they give study permit for full lenght of program (in my case 2,5 years +-) if i show them tut and liv exp's only for one year...
