Sent application in October 2009. Heard NOTHING.

Hey, my 1st ever post ...!

-Sent my application to CIO (federal skilled worker class -not Qubec) October 2009.
-I am Syrian living in Damascus
-sent my application from USA via FEDEX
-method of payment for application fees: cedit card payment (as recently posted on official website).

So far, I have not received anything (acceptance or refusal) regarding my application. I know they recieved it, FEDEX confirmed it. And by nothing i mean, no email, no mail nor contact ... simply nothing!!!!
Also the CIO has not cashed the application fee on the credit card I selected to pay the fees.

Isn't it about time i heard something from them. And by not cashing the money does that mean anything?

If anyone has any input on this, it would be highly appreciated.

What's your NOC?You have to have patience.

Most of the guys have AOR. But few are still waiting. I recommend you to wait till end of Jan and then Send and e-mail to CIO asking for the status

TSA,
1. Did you pay for your visa fee by credit card? if so, did they charge you with the money or not yet. If you payed by check? did they cash the check right away.
2. are you syrian and applying for a federal skilled worker too? if so what is your NOC?
3. do you know someone who got a reply and applied within the dates we applied in?

I am not really sure about if some one was from Syria or not. But 0213 is a job code that is getting response in normal time frame. Please check the thread on the following link

good to know someone is the same. any news yet ... i've heard nothing.

Anything new for you. I too tried to get the email of CIO but no luck at all. I am still waiting for any news. did they cash your fee payment?
