Hi

I am feeling pretty lost in all this process of getting a PR to canada.

I am not a regular visitor here so i am not familiar with many jargons and am probably asking the same question asked many times earlier.

I got a letter from the london visa office ( I applied form Dubai) in July 2010 that they have received the application and will start processing , which i believe is the second AOR and since then there has been no response from their side. I am aware that there is a backlog of all applications pre june 2010 and i am assuming my application is also included in that .

My concern is that i am not able to check my status using the E case , i have used the file number on my 2nd AOR and also tried the one from my first letetr but am not able to get any information.
i have read something about caps, what exactly is that ?
how can i get any information as to what is the status of my application?

anyone with my time line have started to get medical requests?

Qorax and seniors please reply

Hi

I posted an enquiry earlier but didn't get any reply..I was hoping someone would answer my queries, I have no idea how to know the status of my application...

If I am not able to chek my status online does that mean my application is not In process yet ?

Please someone ...throw in some light !!!!!!

- you can post an inquiry to London visa office mentioning that you are unable to check your e-case status and asking them to look into the issue. Use following URL to post inquiry: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=london

- To know about CAIPS, visit the thread ---- http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t99210.0.html

(use also application number)
i have read something about caps, what exactly is that ?
(Global cap: Total number of application 29 eligible NOC)
(Cap: Total number of application 1 NOC)

how can i get any information as to what is the status of my application?
(you can send Case specific inquire to your respective VO)
anyone with my time line have started to get medical requests?
(depends upon the travel history, single applicant and NOc and also how well documented it is)
