I wasnt dure where to get help for this answer so im hoping someone here can help me. Last week i applied to renew my daughters Canadian passport. She is Canadian by birth, as am i. I was told by the Canada consulate that it would be returned the last week of May. My family is currently living in Saudi and my husband has just received his copr vis sponsorship. We have made all plans to leave and return home june 1. We gave notice at our home and stsrted selling things. Today i was told that the passport will now not be back until middle of june due to Ramadan and the will not expedite the process because they dint see a sense of urgency.. My family won't have a home as of june 1. What are my options? Can we ask for the expired passport abd citizenship be returned to us and apply for a travel document? There has to be something we can do Please help

We were told that the passport would be back before we planned to travel. They only told us today that it was going to be late.
