Hi,
I am planning to send my complete documents to New Delhi Visa Office next week. (I am waiting on my IELTS scores). I got my AOR from CIO on August 10th 2010 and my NOC is 0111.
I would like to have some doubts clarified before sending out the application.
1.Application for Permanent Residence IMM 0008(Filled by Primary applicant), Schedule 1 (filled by Primary applicant and spouse), Schedule 3 (Filled by Primary applicant), Additional Family Information IMM5406 (filled by Primary applicant and spouse).
Doubt #1.
Can I send photocopies of the above forms that I had sent to CIO, since none of the details that I had mentioned have changed. So can I just sign and date the photocopies of those filled forms, or should I fill all these forms from scratch. I am asking this because I am unsure if any of these Forms’ format have changed.
2. Identity and Civil status document.
Birth certificates of Primary applicant and Spouse as well as Marriage certificate.
Doubt #2.
Would photocopies of the above suffice, or do I need to provide Notorized photocopies stating that they are true copies of the original.
3. Children Information (Not Applicable for me)
4. Travel Documents and Passports.
Photocopies of all pages of passports of primary applicant and spouse.
Travel History of Primary applicant and spouse to be provided with details of countries visited, date of entry and exit as well as routing. Mention transits too.
Doubt#3.
a. Would photocopies of all pages of the passport suffice, or do I need to notorize them?
b. What format would be apt for Travel history. Would the below work?
S.no. Primary Applicant/Spouse Country Visited Routing Via Entry Date Exit Date
5. Proof of relationship in Canada (Not Applicable for me)
6. Education/ Training.
I think this is clearly mentioned, only sealed transcripts of primary applicant and spouse would be acceptable.
7. Work Experience
I think this is also clearly mentioned. Only originals or notorized photocopies of employment contracts and reference letters are acceptable. Include Business cards of the Supervisor.
8. Arranged Employment (Not applicable)
9. Proof of Language proficiency:
This is absolutely clear. Only original IELTS test scores will suffice.
10. Non-accompanying Family members (Not Applicable)
11. Settlement funds.
Proof of funds in excess of $13,801 (For 2 people) to be shown.
To be consistent, I am going to show proof equivalent to the figure that I have mentioned in Schedule 3 form.
I plan to show 6 Months bank statements attested duly by the bank-Both Primary applicant and Spouse.
Bank reference letters detailing the account balance.
Doubt #4:a. Since my spouse in Included in my application and she is accompanying me, I am assuming that her funds can be included in the Proof of fund. Is that correct?
b. I am assuming only the original bank statements would suffice-correct?
c. The Bank reference letter should be addressed to who?
12, Police Clearance Certificates
I am sending the original Police clearance certificate for Primary applicant and Spouse.
13. Fee payment.
Doubt #5:
I am unsure if this means the fee that I have already paid to CIO ($550 * 2) or is it something that I have to pay again.
In case I have to pay again-
a. What should be the amount to be paid for Primary applicant and spouse.
b. Can I pay it in Rupees or should it be in Canadian Dollars.
c. To whom should the demand draft be favouring.
d. Are personal cheques accepted.
e. Is there any cover letter for Fee payment like there was with IMM 5620 fee payment form.
14. 6 Photographs of both Primary applicant and Spouse matching the specs detailed out. All the photos should have
a. Name
b. Date of Birth
c. Date when photo taken.
Doubt # 6:
None of the photos should be stuck, it should all be enclosed, correct?
And finally,
15. All of the above along with appendix A checklist should be couriered to
The Canadian High CommissionImmigration Section
P.O. Box 5209
7/8 Shantipath Chanakyapuri
New Delhi, India 110 021.
I am looking forward to your assistance is helping me complete my application.
Please clarify my 6 doubts and also correct me if any of my other assumptions/understanding is incorrect.
Thanks in advance to everyone who take the time to reply. Any suggestion and feedback is welcome.
Regards.
