Sending documents to WES from JNTU Hyderabad

This thread has been really helpful. I however have a couple questions:

I'm currently in the USA and I cannot go to JNTU-H for transcripts. I'm thinking of ordering them online to my Indian home address. Can I have the transcripts sent to WES through Fedex? If so, while sending the them to WES through Fedex, can I have JNTU-H as the "From" address? Or do the transcripts have to be sent through the JNTU-H post office only?

It would be of immense help if someone can answer this for me.

Hi all

There's a lengthy conversation going on here and am unable to get an answer to my query by reading this. Hence, asking the question again. Sorry about it.

I have seen that transcripts can now be applied online from JNTU Online services including the payment. Now, after the transcripts are posted home. What should be my next step? Can I send it directly to WES? If not, please let me know what to do.. I don't stay in India!

This is really helpful. I tried to get the transcripts from the https://studentservices.jntuh.ac.in/oss/registration.html portal and my hall ticket didn't go through the registration process. Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Also, the WES process asks the candidates to have the institution mail them the docs and not the mail by the candidate. I think, following these steps would have the documents mailed by us rather than the university. Correct my understanding or share more details pls.

Will this be valid as WES will accept only documents which are sent directly by JNTUH., I have my transcripts which i received in 2015 will those be valid?

1. Get your transcripts
2. In jntu post office...you’ll get a form(CN23 form) on which you will be writing the from and to address. Get it attested with the registrar stamp (you can get it done if you go to counter 3)
3.paste it on the envelope
4. Write your WES reference number on the transcripts envelope
5. Go back to post office and send it (go before 1:30 PM to send your post)
6. It’ll take some 5-6 days to reach Toronto. I just checked mine today in WES website..the documents are been received by WES


No need of ARF form

There is no need for ARR at all...at any stage, there is no need for ARR especially with JNTUH.

Step-1: Go online, request transcripts, CMM and Provisional.
Step-2: Collect the transcripts.
Step-3: Go to JNTUH post office or any of the post office and collect the CN23 form. Alternatively, you can download this form too.
Step-4: Get the CN23 attested by the registrar, You should be able to do so from one of the counters where you collected the transcripts.
Step-5: In the column, 'TO ADDRESS', write the WES reference number and address.
Step-6: 'FROM' address is where the Registrar stamp would get attested with signature, no need to write anything here.

Once CN23 is attested by the signatory, hand over the parcel to post office guys and they will ship it to WES. It would about 1400 rupees for the shipping charges and takes about 7-10 days to reach WES, Canada.

No need of ARR at any stage, Do not waste time behind of those ARR form and DO NOT MISLEAD others just because you have been misunderstood or mislead by others.

In this entire thread you gave the best, simple and straight forward answer, but I am not sure why did you requested for CMM and Provisional. Did you send those along with your transcripts in the same envelop(I mean all will be in that tiny white envelop) or in the bigger envelop(where our transcripts envelop goes while posting) or in the other envelop( where Degree Certificates{Final or Provisional} that we need to send to WES directly from our side). If you have sent those in a different envelop, Did you included the B.Tech CMM & PC along with your Master's CMM & PC(can we do that?). I know this might not be the right thread to discuss this but you are the best I came across. Kindly continue after the Step-6(like - what did you do with your PC & CMM, Can we send B.Tech & Master's Degree certificates{Final or Provisional} in a single envelop). Please talk about the other envelop that WES is asking us to send the degree certificates(Masters & B.Tech) from our side.

After going through the communication threat here, I understand that I need to post Provisional, individual mark memos, consolidated marks memo to WES for my Bachelors degree. However, my question is are they any others documents like degree certificate, Migration or Medium certificate that I will need to send along with these ? In addition, for Masters evaluation what documents will I need to send to WES. TIA !

It costs another 100-200 rupees but after I sent my document set reached WES, I did not send anything else. Usually, WES asks for us to send a scanned copy of the degree certificate but in my case, they did not ask me.

I don't know exactly why they haven't asked me for my degree copy, maybe because there were a CMM and Provisional certificate included in the packet but there is no harm in sending those two.

Thank you for your reply ExpressMan. I have sent my Masters & B.Tech transcripts in 2 different couriers. My masters transcript was sent by FedEx from my university itself and it has reached WES in 3 days but the JNTU HYD Speed post is taking more time than usual. I have sent them on 5th September and today(18th September) they are at the Canada Customs Hold saying "AWAITING PRESENTATION TO BORDER AGENCY/S"(It was with them from 15th). May I Know how much time it took for you to pass the customs hold and go to delivery process.

I want to get ECA for immigration. So, now the JNTU Hyd, allows us to request for transcripts through online https://studentservices.jntuh.ac.in/oss/transService.html which is really good.

At present I am living in Saudi Arabia. Coming to the point, if i initiate my B.tech transcripts through online, will they do attestation on backside of transcripts or do i need to send my cousin/friend to JNTU and inform about the attestation for ECA.

How many copies of transcripts are required for ECA?
After getting the documents, what is the next step?
What about the payment for these transcripts do i need to pay at the counter or online?

Please let me know in details.

3) Organization ( I clicked this and did not find canada )
