Sending documents to WES Canada. Any recommendations?

I will be getting my transcripts in a couple of days. Which post or courier service should I use to send the documents to WES Canada from India? Any recommendations?

The easiest and quickest of all is to scan your docs and email to any of friend/family member already in Canada and ask him to send it to required address.

But obviously you need someone out there in Canada.

That isn't an option, because WES requires original copies of transcripts.

Are you sure WES requires original documents in your case.

As long as i know copies are requested by them

What country are you from ? (Or what country did you complete your education in ?)

I obviously haven't checked the document requirements for every country, but I've just checked a handful of countries, and for all of them there are only 2 options for transcripts:

"Arrange for the documents to be sent directly to WES by the university or autonomous college responsible for conducting the examinations."

or

"If the document is given to you to forward to WES, it must be attested & dated and placed in an official sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the institution that conducted the examination. If the envelope has been opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, the document will not be accepted by WES."


Sending in a transcript that you've printed yourself is not an option.

If you're from a country that has different document requirements than every other country, I'd be interested to know where that is.

I am in process of WES assessment for my MBA degree from Cardiff UK.

They asked me to send copy of degree and they required Cardiff University student records to send them directly sealed envelope having transcript of my MBA degree.

I sent my MBA degree scan copy to my friend in Canada via email and he took a print out and send it to WES.

And as per my request Cardiff Uni students record sent sealed envelope of my transcript to WES directly.

Current status is Documents received- Review in progress.

Right. You're talking about the copy of your degree certificate, which should indeed be a photocopy. In which case, emailing them to a Canadian friend is fine.

But OP specifically said he was sending his transcripts, which must be originals. So emailing them to a friend is not an option.

It depends what the document requirements for your country say. For some countries, they must be sent by the institution. For other countries, as I said earlier, you have a second option:

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions. My question was simple. I just wanted to know if I should send my documents via post or courier. If courier what are the recommendations? Thanks I am sending it from India by the way.
