Sending Background Check separate from Application?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. My wife and I sent out her immigration application about two weeks ago and yesterday we finally got her background check. Now we're wondering how do we send it in? Do we just write a note stating when we sent in the application so they can match the background check to it?

If anyone could help me out that would be great and I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you.

I would wait until an ID has been assigned to your file before you send anything additional in. Otherwise it may be lost / not matched up.

Did you apply outland? If so, then you should have your ID in about six weeks.

We applied outland. Will they be sending the ID through mail or e-mail?

I'm also concerned due to the time because my wife's background check was processed on September 29th which really only gives us like two months to send this in, would it be best to get another background check going if the ID number takes a longer time?
