Hello friends, does anyone know how can I update the IRCC about a new family member - a newborn baby?
I contacted our local office and they advised me to send the file to the same place I sent my application.
I submitted my application via regular mail and not by email. So I don't know how I can contact them online if I don't have an AOR yet...
Thank you very much for your help.

hope this will help you it looks like you could do it via webform

When should I contact IRCC? You must let us know via the IRCC Webform if there are changes to your application:

 Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce

 Change of contact information such as e-mail address, mailing address, or telephone number

 You appoint or change an immigration representative or designated individual

 You decide to withdraw your application

Thank you, friend. I did this. Hopefully, they do answer web form requests from time to time. ;)

I applied September 2020 and temp AOR Jan 15 2021. Should I be concerned I have no permanent AOR yet when people on this thread say they have ?
don't worry, we are not a priority for them right now. they only care about refugees and Canadian experience class at the moment. we are at the end of their list. be patient.

Hi all,
I noticed that self-employed category can apply online now! I am filling everything online, and got 2 problems. Can anyone who applied online help me out?

1. When I fill up online forms, some of the forms don'e have enough space for the content I need to put in, and there's no upload option for that form's section. For example, for form IMM 5406, there's not enough space for my addtress, so I guess I need to attach another paper. But where do I upload my attachment to IMM 5406's section?

2. How to save the forms online into PDF files? On the application page, it says "To keep or print a copy of the pages in this form, choose File then Print once you fill in each page. If you don’t have a printer, choose Save as PDF as the print destination. ” But where is the "FILE" I can choose to save as PDF?

While feeling the form online (Complete ALL names in English and in your native language (for example, Arabic Cyrillic, Chinese, Chinese commercial/telegraphic code, Korean or Japanese characters) this is also written. How can I write in native language while filling the form online? Or should I write only in English? Please reply my question ASAP if possible.

"In your native language's characters" literatlly... if it doesn't let you type it on the form directly, try typing it out in a word file or notepad and copy and paste it to the form...

I didn't use the online portal so I can't answer Q1. But I guess, you may either merge the additional papers and the completed form to one PDF file, or if there's an additional box for uploading any other documents required, you can upload it there separately? Just my guess. Please verify it yourself.

Q2 is a technical question. When you choose 'save as PDF', you are 'creating' a new pdf file. You can create a folder for this purpose. Name the form you are filling in (as the file name), and save it as a pdf file under that folder.

Has anyone else here used the new online portal to submit their application? I know it's easier to use than paper-based mailing, but is it effective? Has anyone gotten an AOR after using the online portal to submit their application?

Has anyone had to change/update info like a new address? I filled out the webform online. Just wondering if anyone gets a confirmation for that? Hopefully it went through.
