Ugh, just saw that....Just talked to my lawyer this morning who told me the processing times field had been down for awhile, so they must have JUST updated it.

That's.....depressing.
Wait, what? Processing time is now 29 months?

But it's only really worthwhile to know how many business stream immigration applications there are. Like I said, put 1000 up against 400,000, it sounds terrible. But if there's a really low amount of business stream applications, like sub 5000, it's not really that bad.
The problem at this point is that they only allow 1000, but since covid last year I have not seen anyone here receiving any news so does that mean they will allow more once they start processing again

Great forum and thread. We are planning on the federal self employed route. Have concerns regarding our UK tax returns. I am self employed, have been for 20 years falling into the culture field. My tax returns each year are around £22k income/top end. Will this effect the application. I can back up with bank statements etc but just worried about the low income. Thanks

Hi everyone, after months of follow up my wife received a reply saying they received her application and given temporary application number starts with XE002075682. Any update from from applicants received temporary application number?
Application reached NS - 6th April
Temporary application number received - 5th Mar 2021
Still waiting for further update

Potentially stupid question: When we sent our application in (via lawyer) we sent it in with fingerprints taken at a biometrics office in the states. This along with the FBI background check/police certificate. I also paid the biometrics fee up front.

Is that biometrics? Or will I have to do that all over again once they actually begin to process the application. I guess I'm confused at the difference between "biometrics request" and what we've already submitted.

We also had to get fingerprints done for the FBI check. I believe "Biometrics" asked for by Canada is a different set of fingerprints for their own purposes. So you'll probably have to get them done again. We will too.
