Hello folka،

I know one guy who applied in the start of 2020 and i was aure that he will get COPR for sure got rejected two days back.

He owns company, has big clients, earning well , has saving and assets but got rejected, seems like it depends on VO alot.

God luck All.

Hey Zummer , Congrats! You're with London VAC, I suppose?
Hopefully most of us are going to get a response soon since VACs around the world are supposedly opening slowly but surely.

Please keep us updated on any communication you receive from IRCC regarding your border crossing. Many of us are biting our nails over this : D
Yep, it's London. Will post updates when I hear more as I've found other people's updates really useful over the last 18 months or so

Hello all, been following this entire thread for a while now. I'm Noc 5131 (Producer). I was planning on applying at the end of this year once I got all my finances in place for the big bank balance sum. I found out yesterday that the timeline is now 34 months, that was super disappointing since I was hoping it would be closer to 1.5 to 2 years for this entire process. Hoping for that to come down by the time I apply. I'm in India right now and plan to apply in December this year. But I'll be in the UAE from Jan, should I just apply from there? I'm assuming that applying from India there might potentially take longer as more applicants here and UAE far fewer. Or does that not matter and I'm reading the process wrong?

Not sure about the process taking longer if you're from India. But I would advise you to apply as soon as you can, as the IRCC can reduce the processing time as quickly as they increased it.

Thanks! That's heartening to know that times can potentially decrease. Definitely do plan to apply later this year as soon as I have the required amount to show my proof of funds. I have the 2k CAD right now to apply. The 10-12k for proof of funds I need a couple of more months. Do I need that at the time I send my application or can I have that ready a little later after I send the application? If I don't need to show proof of fund immediately I can apply as soon as possible. I can't seem to find that information online.

Technically you need the required funds at the time you apply. But if you don't have all of it yet, you can definitely work for it and save up between the time you submit your application and the time they ask you for proof of funds, which will come later. No need to submit POF with your application, as they expressly state this in the application forms. Bank certificates and other POF will be one of the additional documents they will ask of you later on in the process.

Thank you! That definitely changes my perspective on when to apply. If I apply by July, I'll most likely have enough POF couple of months after that so that could work.
