Self-Employed Application 2020

Dear all,

My documents were reached on 29 December 2020. I've not gotten AOR yet. I sent the application via courier service (Pony Express) from Russia.
Do I need to write through the web-form and ask for the documents?

Now again they are stop to issue AOR. Last they issued on 15th or 16th Jan -2021.
I have sent my application on last year march 2020.still i have not received my AOR YET.
2 weeks before i got reply from cic because i filled webform.
Got reply that no record of my application in their system so request me to send copy of application.
I have sent my application and they have again received on 6th february 2021.
After one year again i sent my application copy.
They are not on proper way.i have just wasted my one year because of covid-19 and less staff in CIC and focusing only online application.
Now lets see what will come out now.
Suggest you to fill web form and keep checking every month.

I submitted for self employed (author) on Feb 2020, and completed biometrics on March 13 2020. Just waiting now. Timeline end is estimated to be Nov 2021. Question, I also submitted my medical which expires Oct 2020...should I send an webform inquiry letting them know to note this so I hopefully won't have to repeat medical due to costs?

I got reply from cic that they have not record of my application.i have sent my application on 5th march and received by them on 11th march 2020.
Now they asked me to resend copy of application so i have sent today.
Lets see what will come out now.
I will suggest to fill webform asap.

I had the similar issue. CIO contacted me saying that FedEx lost all my application in transportation between CIO and an overseas embassy, and they asked for a resubmission. Luckily after three days, they told me they relocated my application. But still I guess I have just wasted a whole year!

In my case application was received by CIC but not finding in system or other place.now i am waiting to get reply from cic for my application which i sent 2 weeks before.

You will get biometric only if your file is completed as per require documents.right now they will check ur eligibility for percular program and points which require for it.once its ok than u will have a request for bio metric.

I have the same question. AOR received Feb 2020, start processing 5 Feb 2020 but still waiting for Biometric Request

It has been 1 year already. I realize many people in this group received the Biometrics request just a few months after receipt of AOR.
