Hi Guys!

Just wanted to share with you all that I just received the medical request Today :)

Here is my Timeline so far:
-Application sent: Feb 8, 2018
-AOR: May 7, 2018
-Medicals request: Jan 16, 2020

NO additional documents or anything else other than that.

I applied from inside Canada and as you can see, it has been a bit longer than the 21 months estimated on CIC’s website.

I’m so happy and hopefully this gives hope to everyone else experiencing longer processing times that what CIC says.

God Bless you all!!

Cheers!

I’m tempted to ask if you are deliberately trying to get your application delayed much longer...
Wait and get your approval then file spousal visa (which means you have to marry her), I’m not sure if this class covers common law partnership...

Hi everyone, nice work here.
I’ve been a silent reader for a while now and i must say, it’s been awesome, thank you! I have a question, i want to start my application but the issue is that my husband is a Bsc holder but we can’t get his certificate due to some issues. How do i fill the spouse education level in the form? As it is I don’t just want to write that he has O’levels only. Should i fill Bsc and raise LOE to tell y his certificate isn’t included yet?
I.e we can get the certificate in like 7-8 months time but wouldn’t want to wait till then before submission. (Apologies for the long text)

Would there be any alternative supporting documents that can serve as a proof of his bsc? A transcript, letter of conferment... etc? Or does he have a copy of his certificate and can somehow arrange a certified true copy with the school?

Wow congratulations! Hope us too gets the same positive results. We have 1 year left before the results comes out.

Thanks for your response, NO he doesn’t have anything to show for his bsc yet, it will take a long time and I wouldn’t want to delay our application because the process of getting a copy of the certificate is quite long.

Can i submit the application without a copy of his certificate and raise a LOE telling them why i did? I can get it for them later when they request. Doing that means i will fill BSC for him while filling the form

IMO you may still apply first. The worst is that you cannot claim that adaptability point, which is minimal.
