I think so, that's really strange that 4 months not been moved forward. Maybe this category has been suspended, due to too many new applications influx?

I think if that is officially suspended there must be an announcement stating it clearly so as to stop applicants-to-be from paying the fees...?

I mailed the LVO, they only said that my application is in the visa office. That's it...

You can inlcude it... I sent 6 months with my application.
They later asked me an updated statement as well. So you can send it later as well when they ask

Just wanted to share with you all that I just received the medical request Today

Here is my Timeline so far:
-Application sent: Feb 8, 2018
-AOR: May 7, 2018
-Medicals request: Jan 16, 2020

NO additional documents or anything else other than that.

I applied from inside Canada and as you can see, it has been a bit longer than the 21 months estimated on CIC’s website.

I’m so happy and hopefully this gives hope to everyone else experiencing longer processing times that what CIC says.

I am a Sound Designer, I work for movies and tv series.
I did not submit a business plan, all I sent was job agreements (copy of email, texts or contracts), invoices generated for each project, a list of projects I have worked on for the past 12 years (this list was taken from my IMDB), copy of awards received, a couple of professional references for 2 of my biggest clients and a letter explaining how much money I made on this profession and declared in taxes for the past couple of years preceding my application.
