What’s LVO?

It was sent but cic, I think it was a general message but I hope it has something to do with them looking into my application and I’ll know something soon! Fingers crossed.
Local Visa Office

Yes, your Local Visa Office.

The general pathway I reckoned from the seniors' sharing:

Submission of application --> (Physical) Receipt --> request for missing doc (if applicable) -->
AOR CIO --> Biometrics (if applicable) --> AOR LVO --> further doc requests/ PCC/ ME +/- interview (not necessarily) -->
RPRF --> PPR --> COPR :D

(Also available here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ada/self-employed/after-apply-next-steps.html)

Of course this pathway does not apply to all as there are variations and differences in the sequences, and it could get stuck at any point during the process...... :(
And some applications may still be processed by CIO directly? IDK but let's hope it's all good sign.

Let's wish ourselves all a HAPPY 2020 with smooth and positive application outcomes! :)

Happy new year everyone. I would like to ask, i need to add some LOE’s to my application. Whom do I address it to please? Is this okay? Also, will my own address be inclusive (at the top right corner of the letter)

To,

The immigration Officer,

IRCC, Government of Canada,

Canada

I addressed it to:

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
Self-employed Class
Centralized Intake Office
Canada

I didn't include the address and it got the job done.

Can anyone advise on how many months' bank statement are we expected to include? And do we include those together with the application or only when asked?
You can inlcude it... I sent 6 months with my application.
They later asked me an updated statement as well. So you can send it later as well when they ask

Pls guys, do you think I should include a company my husband registered but it's not operational yet in that colum that requires business owned in that assets declaration form. Or should I not include it since the company has not worth yet?

Hi,

I wonder if you can help. I'm a UK Citizen so currently in Canada under a VWP with husband and 2 children, we're world travellers. I'm looking to apply for the Self Employed Person residency and have a few questions:
1. Can I apply whilst already inside Canada?
2. If so, does that give me implied status or do I need to apply for an extension and get a visitor record whilst waiting for an outcome?
Thanks for your help, and sorry if these questions have been asked, it's a looooong thread!

1. Yes.
2. No - this does not give you implied status.
