Yes my brother it's crazy. Sometimes I am tempted to enter the Express Entry pool or even apply for study
Tell me about it... Those options have also crossed my mind a dozen times... This category really does take a long time. You can't plan.... You re made to just wait...

Please DO NOT apply for study visa while your self-employed visa is on-going. The last person who did was denied both...For FSE you are expected to prove that you can and are 'willing' to be self-employed. Applying for student visa puts a question mark on your ability and willingness to be self-employed. The wait is long, hard and nerve-wrecking but then we all knew the timeline before we jumped in...

Good day, all. Thank you @leavingonajetplane2016 for this life-saving platform.

I have a question:

Has anyone gone through thiis route as a librarian? If yes, what should the process be like since librarians are mostly employed in Libraries?

WoW!! thanks man for the response really appreciate. hmmm! Makes sense even though they don't state that clearly.

my guess as to why they don't state it clearly is that in the SE requirements you have to demonstrate that you're absolutely committed to becoming self employed when in Canada, the inference being not "ideally self employed but, you know, student as a fallback..."

You're welcome. I'm not 100% sure but I think someone on here applied as a librarian and there has been some discussion on how to represent your experience as a librarian. I recommend going through the thread to find the person and connect with him or her. HTH.

Are you still at the same stage waiting? @Grey_Hatz

- 29 Nov 2018: Submit application
- 20 Feb 2019: AOR
- 13 Mar 2019: AOR LVO
- 28 May 2019: Request for Police cert
- 10 Jul 2019: Submit Police cert
No request for medical yet. A bit anxious as some of the members here getting the medical request almost immediately after the PCC. What about yours @Palamon ?

Hi @leavingonajetplane2016
May I ask if you have included your start-up estimation in your biz plan only, or did you write any forecasts or 3/5 yrs plan?
Abi @NGCA 's template only showed a start-up estimation. I tried to ask her further but she might be tied up at the moment..?
