I checked out that link and yes, looks like i am the third or fourth person who has come across this no show status. However, my case went in dec11, 2015. So i am not sure whats goig on. They are from january..

Did we consider emailing this story to CBC go public ? I think this will make a good story to highlight the problem being faced by so many of us. IRCC seems to be making an effort to improve their processing times on so many other fronts, it is quite unfair that a simple PR card renewal should take over a year!

CBC's Go public is a forum by which you can send a potential story to CBC and they will follow up on it if they find it interesting. How many people here are stuck in secondary review for a simple renewal? (Simple as in you're in the country and easily meet residency requirements). How long have people been stuck in secondary review for?

Media is a strong forum to make changes but sorry to say they are not interested in this topic we tried too much no one was ready to listen.

We tried our level best to contact Media and asked for there help but now a days Media is not real media as was....they are selfishly interested in TRP and money making....not interested for society

Good news, I just phoned IRCC today, was informed my PR card has been mail out yesterday Dec 14, 2016. All my stress in over now....finally

Here is the update of My timeline:-
1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 24, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 9, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on February 10, 2016.
4. We sent you correspondence on February 12, 2016.
5. IRCC mail out new card on December 14, 2016.

I would like to know how many in this SR group had RQ? I am guessing that not many had the RQ. If so, what is the criteria for RQ? Is it just minimum days like less than 800? Is there anyone who had 1000 plus days residence in Canada and still got RQ? Thanks for the inputs.

3. Secondary review email sent Aug 25, 2016.

For my mum:

I plan to travel next March but I don't think I will be able to receive my card before that. I think I will try to ask for urgent processing but I don't know if it will get through. If not, I guess I will have to try apply for PRTD once I arrive my destination.

Hi Shu0322- how many days of Residence do you have? Did you travel or lived in Middle East?
