Second IEC from australia.

Good morning.

I am on my first IEC (Aussie passport) 24months exp August 2015.

I am under the impression from research that I can have one more go at IEC soon as my current one is up.

My question is when do I apply for my second one. AUG 4th 2015 is my WP end date. I would like to do it as soon as possible.

I do hold a NZ passport also.

I thought that if you were here on a one year IEC visa you could renew for another visa (and apply for one or two years), but if you were already accepted on a two year visa you couldn't ask for a renewal?

1. No, here is what CIC says for IEC Australia

"Determine your eligibility

Note: As an Australian citizen, you may participate in the Working Holiday category only once. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you may participate in IEC one more time through the International Co-op (Internship) category.

If you participated in IEC before 2015, you are eligible for a final participation of up to 24 months in the category of your choice.

1. When DFAIT used to run the IEC program last year, the suggestion for Australia was that you could apply 8 weeks in Advance of your OWP expiring.
