Hey all,

I applied for OOPNP: Human Capital Stream on June 10 and received a letter of acknowledgment on June 18. Today I received a second AOR which is not that different from the first one. Has anybody else received two acknowledgment letters from OOPNP? Anybody knows what it means?

Thanks,

Not that we've heard of in the AOR thread. Maybe it was an error from them? Reply back and see.. it seems like they're looking at June 18 applications for nominations at the moment.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I don't think there is a problem as they didn't send the exact previous letter. It's a bit different.
I got ITA last month and applied for PR under FSW. What should I do if get nomination as well? Is it going to get expired by itself?

Since you already have received an ITA and no changes can be made to your EE profile, you could inform OINP via email that you wish to withdraw.

If you get a PN, it will lapse on its own after 60 days because you won't be able to take any action on the same since your pre-ITA profile is frozen now. You can choose to inform OOPNP about your withdrawal but don't expect them to refund you 1500 CAD in any case. Even if you don't inform them about withdrawal, it makes no difference to either your PR application or your OOPNP processing - it can make a difference to some random stranger who will be allotted the PN instead of you - you can collect good karma by informing them about your withdrawal because it will hasten someone else's PN. :)

OOPNP will know that you applied for FSW anyway. Doesn't hurt to take a proactive action to disclose it.
