Seattle VO closed - Applicants ?

Hi Friends,

Effective January 29, 2013, the Visa and Immigration Sections the Canadian Consulates General in Detroit and Seattle are closed.

I have Question,
What happen to applicants who already submitted their passport for PR visa stamp and received at Seattle VO before January 29th?

"Persons who have already submitted applications do not need to do anything."

The file will be transferred to the other office and be continued to process.

So this means no more same-day visa issuance at Detroit?

Well, that just added several more weeks or more to my processing time. I live right across from Detroit and go there often.
