SDS Funded Studies -Masters- Student Direct Stream

Hi,
I have received masters admission as well as funding from a University and the funding is more than the tuition fees.

I know that while applying for a study permit through SDS, we need to pay the first year's tuition fees in advance.
So, can I just show the funding as the proof for the fee payment in SDS?
