Is this the correct link to apply gcms notes from India?

Hey @Ad123j! We've applied through this website: https://gcmsnotes.com/ Seems reliable. They sent notifications and have great customer service and you can track your order with them (though it is not much use, but still).

Your link is not the correct one, it's not about GCMS notes.

Thanks for sharing.
What is their timeline to deliver gcms notes and how much did they charge? There are three packages on their website - $17 or $35 or $25. Which one would you suggest going for.
I have received May intake offer letter but of no use at the moment. So, want to try reapplying family application.

One more thing, My IELTS is GENERAL. Can this also be the reason?

I am in the minority here, but I believe student permit applications require an IELTS Academic result, NOT a General one. I referred to this website for the details, and my agent also recommended the same to be on the safer side. Also, personal musings, maybe, but why have an IELTS exam specific to 'Academic' when it's not needed for a study permit? I would recommend being on the safer side. Your call.

Only refer to the IRCC site. Your link is not a government site.

have a language test result that shows either:

Student Direct Stream: Who can apply - Canada.ca

You need to explain how a PG certificate builds on your education, and gives you better employment opportunities (higher pay) to justify the costs of the program. Again a PM program can be studied anywhere so you need to explain why you want to attend that college's program. I can't say whether you made the wrong choice as your GCMS notes may tell you that. You have a Masters so reasoning for college certificate and not a university program must be strong.

this one I think is a bit trickier than simply listening to what the agent has to say or what the IRCC website mentions - my sister had the IELTS General result with great scores, and her agent mentioned that the IELTS Academic is necessary for visa approval. The truth was somewhere in the middle as her educational institution did not list IELTS General as an acceptable form of English proficiency - it had to be the IELTS Academic test.

Well, I agree with @Mayank_Choudhary here. SDS is for the student permit and college and the university does ask for IELTS Academic.

I have one more confusion: MY CRS score is above 460 , so I am not getting I should again apply for study permit or wait for the CRS scores to go down for Express entry

That's weird. I referred to this website here and they hadn't specified which IELTS. So, to be on the safer side, I chose 'Academic' since that made more sense to me. If you're taking the IELTS again, I would recommend taking the 'Academic' one, @Mandymahal. It's the one I took and several of my friends and colleagues over the last two years and we all got our permits.

The original question from the person, who already has a LOA from a college with IELTS-General, was whether to take IELTS-Academic too. If person has LOA already, then Academic is not necessary.
