Hi All,

I have sent my application package to Ontario in March. And by checking the trend and speed I think I can expect AOR only after July.

But I have a problem with my score. My CRS points are 405 only and after june it will be dropped by 5 points. Making my score exactly 400.

Will this be a problem for OINP? Do they need people above 400 or exactly 400 are also considered?

I'm pretty sure 400 is the minimum.

I've also heard cases of people losing points, because of age, and going under 400 while their applications have been with OINP and OINP have said it's not a problem.

I think you'll be fine.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply :)

You are eligible to receive a NOI from OINP with a score of 400.

After you receive PT, if your CRS goes below 400 because you got older, doesn't matter. You are still eligible to apply.

Thanks Rajkamal

"CRS Points reduction as a result of increase in age" is the only exception case for which an applicant is not penalised if one has already applied for a PNP and also the same applies after receiving ITA.
