Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has been able to figure out a way around the school boundary issue. We want to send our son to French Immersion, but the school in our boundary is not very good and quite overcrowded. However, there is another French school within the boundary where my parents live, which is not far from where we live, so I was thinking to get my address changed on my license so that it shows my parents' home address. This would allow my son to go to the better school, which as a parent, is very important to me. I know that it's not honest, but at the end of the day, I feel it is my responsibility to ensure my son goes to a school where he can succeed. The other school is ridiculously overcrowded, so class sizes are 30+ (this is according to the principal).
What do you guys think is the best solution? Writing to the school board is not really an option, as they rarely allow exemptions to the school boundary rule.
Thanks for any and all replies.
