Education for 17 years old ,will high school accept him?

Hi,

My elder son is is 17 years old and has just taken his O levels IGCSE exams.I want him to join him the high school in 11th grade from the next school year.

I would like to ask is there an age limit for getting admission in respective classes and what if I want my child to repeat any class for the sake of improvements of his grades as its the High school GPA which get you admission in a good university?

Will the school allow my son to take any class again ?

What province will you be living in? In Canada the Educations System depends on what province you are in.
I guess the only way to REALLY know is talk to the school. Tell them you want to place him in grade 11, with kids his age. See what they say.
He is 17 so in Ontario and New Brunswick children are required to be in school until the age of 18.
