Hi everyone,

Just a question for the Schedule A Form, Question 6, Personal History. I have filled in my personal history for the past 10 years, with NO gaps in time as per the instructions. However, as I was studying for the large part of the past 10 years, I have help multiple appointments simultaneously eg. I was working part-time and volunteering whilst studying full-time. Do I need to put everything in? Or just the activity that I was doing with the most of my time and ensure there are no gaps? It's just I have done A LOT of extracurricular activities and this list would go on for > 10 pages!!

Thanks in advance,
Jenna

I would choose one or the other. Generally I would go with what was paying / paying most!

My sister has same situation. Multiple activities in a given period. Like part time jobs during study, and full time and part time jib in the same period. Can she like write only one activity for a given period? Is it wise to do like that

Add an additional page to include the details of each job/activity. Just reference the extra page on the form (i.e. see attached)

will it be misrepresentation if you list only main activity and not list all activities for a given period. She does not remember all activities for a given period. She was working part time while studies for 5 years. Also numerous odd jobs during full time job.

The form in history should cover the MAIN activity i.e. studying full-time with no gaps. You can add a sheet of paper to inform of other activities (eg part-time work).

You'll have to decide which are important enough to disclose - bridge club probably not; part-time reservist with military - definitely.

As this is for spousal application - the key is whether the info could possibly (by not being disclosed) influence how your file would be processed and/or decided. Leaving out your curling team won't matter.

Mostly I'd guess that something equivalent to part-time work of a day or two a week is worth disclosing. If volunteer work is a LOT of time or high-profile, possibly - but probably not.
